Purenso Stearic Acid is commonly used to emulsify lotions made from scratch. It provides a soft, pearly and cooling feel on the skin. It thickens the recipe and keeps the emulsion stable. It can also be used for soap, emulsified scrub, and conditioner. This can also be used in candle manufacturing to raise the melt point and improve the hardness of candle wax. Insoluble in water, soluble in oils and alcohols.
